K. Fred Gingrich II DVM - owner
Dr. Fred Gingrich graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995.  Following graduation, he joined a 100% dairy cow practice in the central valley of California working primarily with large dairy operations.  Today he is the owner of both Country Roads Veterinary Services and Ashland Veterinary Clinic, dividing his work between both clinics.  His dairy cow interests include ultrasound reproductive exams, fetal sexing, milking system analysis, and dairy herd records analysis.  His small animal interests include internal medicine and dentistry.  Fred enjoys family time, music, movies, hiking and sports (Buckeyes, Indians, Browns).  Fred is married to Michelle with whom he has four children.

David T. Brennan DVM – associate
Dr. Dave Brennan graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007.  Dr. Brennan grew up in the area and attended Crestview High School.  His dairy cow interests include ultrasound reproductive exams, milking system analysis and surgery.  His small animal interests include surgery, dentistry and internal medicine.  Dave enjoys hunting, fishing, and gardening.  He is married to Lisa who is a school teacher in the Ashland school district.

Daniel H. Fulk DVM – associate
Dr. Daniel Fulk graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1972.  Shortly after graduation, Dr. Fulk returned to the Ashland area and founded Fulk Veterinary Clinic which is now the office known as Country Roads Veterinary Services.  Dr. Fulk purchased the Ashland Veterinary Clinic in 1990 where he now works as a part time associate.  Dr. Fulk’s interests include orthopedic surgery, laser applications in surgery and soft tissue surgery.  He performs many complex surgeries that have often traditionally been referred to specialty practices in Columbus.  Dr. Fulk is married to Carolyn and has two grown daughters and two granddaughters.  He enjoys hunting, fishing, and traveling.

Ellen E. Hartz, DVM - associate
Dr. Ellen Hartz graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Dr. Hartz joined the practice in December 2008 after working as a dairy veterinarian in northwest Ohio. She is originally from the Shelby/Crestline area and is a third generation veterinarian. On the dairy farms her interests include ultrasound reproductive exams, calf health, surgery, and internal medicine. Her small animal interests are behavior, dermatology/internal medicine, and dentistry. In her spare time Ellen enjoys sports (Go Bucks!), traveling, church and outdoor activities.
